Located just 15 miles from Oxford and 11 miles from Blenheim Palace, the Old Swan is nestled in 65 acres of idyllic grounds in the picturesque village of Minster Lovell. This quintessentially English inn seamlessly blends the rural charm of its historic setting with contemporary design, luxurious comfort and delicious menus crafted from the best seasonal produce.
The Old Swan comprises 15 charming guest rooms and suites epitomising the classic beauty of the rural Inn. Each room is individual in design, seamlessly blending the unique historic features of the building with luxurious comfort.
This is the perfect place to enjoy a pie and a pint by the fireside, or perhaps an afternoon tea on the terrace in the summer. The Old Swan's dining rooms and bars are a myriad of smaller heavily beamed, cosy quarters with roaring log fires, rugged flag-stone floors.
Set in 65 acres of magical gardens, wild-flower meadows, woodland and on the River Windrush, there's plenty to explore and ample places to relax in peace. The vegetable gardens supply the chef with fruit and vegetables and the beehives honey.
We are a dog-friendly hotel and a limited number of our Superior Rooms are available if you are travelling with your dogs. Please see our full Dog Policy for more information.
